Finding the right paddle is harder than it looks. Specs on a screen don't tell you how the handle feels or how the ball pops off the face. Here is what to look for when you demo:
1. Core Thickness (14mm vs 16mm)
Generally, a 16mm core offers more touch, control, and stability—ideal for soft games, resets, and dinking. A 14mm core is thinner and returns more energy to the ball, resulting in higher "pop" and power for drives.
2. Face Material (Raw Carbon Fiber)
