Intermediate Pickleball Paddles

Ready to level up? Ditch the beginner gear. Intermediate players need to define their playstyle. Choose Power (Thin Core) for aggressive drives or Control (Thick Core) for precision and dinking.

Upgrade Guide: How to Choose

As an intermediate player, you are developing a specific style. Your paddle needs to match it.

1. Are you a "Banger"? (Choose Power)

If you like to drive the ball hard from the baseline and speed up the ball at the net, you need a Thinner Core (14mm or less). These paddles are stiffer, creating instant "pop" and exit velocity.

2. Are you a "Dinker"? (Choose Control)

If you win points by being patient, resetting hard shots, and placing the ball perfectly in the kitchen, you need a Thicker Core (16mm+). These paddles absorb energy, giving you a softer feel and a massive sweet spot.

The Carbon Difference: All paddles in this collection feature Raw Carbon Fiber (T700) faces. This gritty texture grabs the ball to generate the high RPM spin you see on TV.

Common Questions

What is "Elongated" vs "Standard"?
Elongated paddles are longer and narrower. They give you more reach and leverage for power, but have a smaller sweet spot. Standard paddles are wider, offering a larger sweet spot for blocking. Most Power players prefer Elongated.
Is 16mm too heavy?
No. While the core is thicker, modern materials keep the weight light (around 8.0 oz). The extra thickness actually helps with stability, preventing the paddle from twisting in your hand on off-center hits.
Can I try before I buy?
Absolutely. If you are torn between Power and Control, use our Demo Program to test drive one of each side-by-side on your own court.
