Performance vs. Traditional: Which do you need?

We carry two distinct types of grips. One is about locking your hands in (Friction), and the other is about comfort (Cushion).

1. VukGripz (The Performance Choice)

Best for: Players who want a thin feel and zero slip in wet conditions.
VukGripz utilizes micro-texture friction (not sticky tack) to grab your batting gloves. It is American-made, reusable, and allows you to relax your grip pressure for faster bat speed.

2. Lizard Skins (The Classic Choice)

Best for: Players who want familiar comfort.
Lizard Skins use a polymer foam to provide that classic "squishy" feel. If you prefer the traditional feel of a cushioned grip to dampen vibration, this is the industry standard.

Installation Tip: Be sure to strip the old grip off completely and clean the handle with rubbing alcohol before applying a new one. This ensures the adhesive bonds perfectly to the bat.

Common Questions

Which one is better for rain?

VukGripz is superior in wet conditions. Because it relies on friction rather than tackiness, it actually grips better when it gets a little moisture on it, whereas traditional grips can get slick.

Can I reuse them?

Only VukGripz are designed to be taken off and reused on a new bat. Lizard Skins are generally one-time use; once you peel them off, the adhesive is done.
